T4 Brings Springfield To London
Date: 2/8/2007
Bromley Station transformed into Springfield this week as the voice of Homer Simpson was heard greeting each passenger.
T4 Media, innovative transport advertising company, introduced sound to their AdGates for the very first time, enabling their Simpsons campaign to really come alive.
The effect of seeing Homer’s face on the gates had an even greater impact when combined with the sound of his famous catch phrase "Doh!"
Children stopped in their tracks, pointing at the images and one young boy was even heard talking back to the voice of Homer. This quirky addition to a non-traditional outdoor format introduced a level of interaction that Fox was hoping to achieve for the launch of such a film.
Chris Green from Fox commented,
‘’It’s a really fun piece of activity that is really in keeping with the humour of the film. We hope it will provide some amusement to commuters on the way in to work!’’
We are extremely excited about our unique addition to AdGates and hope to bring other campaigns to life in the same way.
